ഐ.ഇ.ഇ.ഇ. കേരള വിഭാഗത്തിന്റെ സെക്രട്ടറിയായി തിരഞ്ഞെടുക്കപ്പെട്ട മൂന്നാർ എൻജിനീയറിങ് കോളേജ് ഇലക്ട്രിക്കൽ ആൻഡ് ഇലക്‌ട്രോണിക്‌സ് എഞ്ചിനീയറിംഗ് വിഭാഗം മേധാവി ഡോ. കെ ബിജുവിന് അഭിനന്ദനങ്ങൾ.

കേരള സംസ്ഥാന യുവജനക്ഷേമ ബോർഡ് സംഘടിപ്പിച്ച ജില്ലാതല കേരളോത്സവം 2022ൽ അഞ്ചാം സെമസ്റ്റർ കമ്പ്യൂട്ടർ സയൻസ് ആൻഡ് എഞ്ചിനീയറിംഗിലെ സുമൻ മരിയ ടോം 200 മീറ്റർ ഓട്ടത്തിൽ (വനിത) ഒന്നാം സ്ഥാനവും , 400 മീറ്റർ ഓട്ടത്തിൽ (വനിത) രണ്ടാം സ്ഥാനവും ഷോട്ട്പുട്ടിൽ (വനിത) മൂന്നാം സ്ഥാനവും കരസ്ഥമാക്കി.

കേരള ഇൻസ്റ്റിറ്റ്യൂട്ട് ഫോർ എന്റർപ്രണർഷിപ്പ് ഡെവലൊപ്മെന്റ് സംഘടിപ്പിച്ച മൽത്സരത്തിൽ മൂന്നാർ എഞ്ചിനീയറിംഗ് കോളേജ് ജേതാക്കളായി.

NSS അവാർഡുകൾ മൂന്നാർ എൻജി. കോളേജിന്

മൂന്നാർ: കേരള സർക്കാർ സംസ്ഥാന തലത്തിൽ പ്രഖ്യാപിക്കുന്ന നാഷണൽ സർവ്വീസ് സ്കീമിൻ്റെ വിവിധ അവാർഡുകൾ വിതരണം ചെയ്തു. തിരുവനന്തപുരം നിശാഗന്ധി ഓഡിറ്റോറിയത്തിൽ വച്ച് നടന്ന ചടങ്ങ് മുഖ്യമന്ത്രി ശ്രീ. പിണറായി വിജയൻ ഉദ്ഘാടനം നിർവ്വഹിച്ചു. വിദ്യാഭ്യാസ മന്ത്രി ശ്രീ. വി.ശിവൻകുട്ടി , ഉന്നതവിദ്യാഭ്യാസമന്ത്രി ശ്രീ.ആർ. ബിന്ദു, ശ്രീ.എ.എ റഹിം എം.പി, തിരുവനന്തപുരം മേയർ ശ്രീമതി. ആര്യാ രാജേന്ദ്രൻ എന്നീവർ വിവിധ അവാർഡുകൾ വിതരണം ചെയ്തു. കോവിഡു മൂലം മൂന്നുവർഷത്തിന് ശേഷമാണ് NSS – ൻ്റെ അവാർഡ് ദാന ചടങ്ങ് സംഘടിപ്പിക്കുന്നത്. 2018-19 കാലഘട്ടത്തിലെ പ്രവർത്തന മികവിന് ബെസ്റ്റ് യൂണിറ്റ്, ബെസ്റ്റ് പ്രോഗ്രാം ഓഫീസർ എന്നീ അവാർഡുകളാണ് മൂന്നാർ എൻജിനീയറിംഗ് കോളേജ് കരസ്ഥമാക്കിയത്. ബെസ്റ്റ് യൂണിറ്റിനുള്ള പുരസ്കാരം മൂന്നാർ എൻജിനീയറിംഗ് കോളേജ് അഡ്മിനിസ്ട്രേറ്റീവ് ഓഫീസർ ശ്രീ.വിനോദ്കുമാറും, ബെസ്റ്റ് പ്രോഗ്രാം ഓഫീസർക്കുള്ള പുരസ്കാരം ശ്രീ.ആർ. അനീഷും ബഹുമാനപ്പെട്ട ഉന്നതവിദ്യാഭ്യാസ മന്ത്രിയിൽ നിന്നും ഏറ്റുവാങ്ങി.

കോളേജിൻ്റെ നേതൃത്വത്തിൽ നടപ്പിൽ വരുത്തിയ ലൈഫ്മിഷൻ ഭവന നിർമ്മാണ പദ്ധതിയിലെ ഡാറ്റാ എൻട്രി പദ്ധതി, സ്വച്ഛ് ഭാരത് ക്ലീനിംഗ്, 2018-ലെ പ്രളയ ശേഷം നടത്തിയ ക്ലീനിംഗ് പദ്ധതി, നിർദ്ധന കുടുംബത്തിനു വേണ്ടിയുള്ള ഭവന നിർമ്മാണം, മെഡിക്കൽ ക്യാമ്പുകൾ തുടങ്ങിയ പദ്ധതികൾക്കും, ദേശീയ പരിപാടികളിലെ കാര്യമായ പങ്കാളിത്വവും കൂടി പരിഗണിച്ചാണ് പ്രസ്തുത അവാർഡ് ലഭിച്ചത്.

MoA signed for Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning course by College of Engineering Munnar and ASAP, Kerala on 15/11/2018. It was a proud moment for College of Engineering Munnar for having the maximum number of students qualified for AL/ML course conducted by ASAP Kerala in the state.

College Of Engineering Munnar Bags AICTE Award For Fulfillment Of Sansad Adarsh Grama Yojana By Govt. of India

College of Engineering Munnar (CEM) bagged award for the active participation and fulfillment of Sansad Adarsh Grama Yojan (SAGY) which is the vision of our Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi that “If we have to build the nation we have to start from the villages” and he believes that “If every MP transforms villages in his/her constituency into model villages, large number of villages in the country would have seen holistic development”. Our PM has requested all Members of Parliament (MP) to develop one model village in their constituency by year 2016 and two more by 2019. As part of this 23 colleges in Kerala were selected for the pilot program hand in glove with NSS Technical Cell of each institution. CEM was awarded for adopting the Kanjikuzhi Village in Idukki District for its social activities and improvement of basic facilities in the village. In the award function in Kochi Principal Dr.Ramesh.P received the award from AICTE Vice Chairman Dr.M.P.Poonia

Great Appreciation for NSS volunteers of College of Engineering Munnar by the Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri. Narendra Modi.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated Kerala for gearing up to become open-defecation free state on November 1. In his monthly radio programme Mann Ki Baat on Sunday, Prime Minister said that Kerala needs to be appreciated for its efforts in attaining open defecation free (ODF) status. The efforts by students of College of Engineering Munnar to set up toilets even in the first tribal panchayat Edamalakudy in Idukki district got a special mention in the Prime Minister’s address.

AICTE’s Best Innovative Practice Award

The water supply system installed is from the natural source for the entire campus, hostels and staff quarters of College of Engineering Munnar. The excess water overflowed is given to the nearby residence of the college. Arround 800 individuals including students, staff and the public are still benefited. AICTE’s expert team has impressed on this water supply system. On 2004 AICTE has given an award for Best Innovative Practices to College of Engineering Munnar.
