IEEE Student branch College of Engineering Munnar

IEEE Student branch College of Engineering Munnar was established in the year 2005. It has more than 50 active members including student members, graduate student members, members, and senior members. Currently there are four IEEE technical society student branch chapters and one Women in Engineering affinity group. The student branch chapters are Computer society, Power& Energy society, Industry applications society, and Power electronics society. The IEEE student branch counselor and advisor is Prof. Shahimol Basheer. The student branch Chairman is Mr. Yadhukrishna K. The student branch is used to conduct various activities for the benefit of its members. The major activities include Kaizen, Evensia, Elektra etc.
