About the department

The Department of Mechanical Engineering was established in the year 2013. The objective of the department involves teaching, research, consultancy and service to the community. The Department offers B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering and the present intake is 60. The department has well established laboratories required for undergraduate program. Laboratories in emerging areas like CAD/CAM have already been set up.

To expertise the students as a responsible engineers, technologists and managers in the field of Mechanical Engineering for the benefit of society and industry.
 MISSION
  • To impart quality education to the students and enhance their skills to make them globally competitive mechanical engineers.
  • To establish and maintain vital, state-of-the-art facilities to provide students and faculty with opportunities to create, interpret, apply and disseminate knowledge
